About This Show
An atmospheric tale of a woman, Halo, who returns home to find her boyfriend has disappeared. As Halo and her friends fight to discover the truth about what is happening to their Hispanic community, they come face to face with a new paramilitary regime. This play explores isolation, love, and enforced disappearance in a not so distant America.
About the Artist
Bella O’Brien is a Colorado grown playwright and performer. She is an alumni of Curious Theatre’s Curious New Voices as well as Southern Methodist University’s B.F.A. in Theatre Studies with a concentration in playwriting. She is a recipient of the Rosenfield Playwriting Award and ‘water from the river is also in the sea’ was a Semi-Finalist for the 2019 National Playwriting Conference.
