One night in 1993, two teens decide to stay in and try this weed stuff their D.A.R.E. officer keeps talking about. When the duo accidentally opens up a portal into their TV, they begin on a journey into the psychology of media and advertising during the anti-drug war of the 90’s.
About the Artists
Reilly Willson and Shelby Quinn – Jim and Melissa. The duo began writing and performing together in 2015 after meeting at the Second City in Chicago. Since then they have written, produced and performed sketch comedy revues at comedy theaters such as the Second City (Chicago), iO (Chicago), Stage 773 (Chicago), The Annoyance (Chicago), and the PIT (NYC) – where they currently perform a monthly. This is their first one-act play and they are excited to debut it at Dixon Place.
