About This Show

As the news of another black teen being killed by a white police officer covers every newspaper, Ava Janine Wright can’t help but to be deeply affected. As the Chief Financial Officer at Bucchanan Trust Accounting Firm she feels guilty for not doing more to help her community. When her Ivy league education, position and money can’t protect her from the red tape of Buchanan Trust and her highschool friend Elijah is profiled by police; Ava decides it’s time to reassess her future.

About the Artists

Adrienne S. Witt aka A. Lyric is a singer/songwriter, actor, poet and spoken word artists from The Bronx. ‘UNSEEN’ is her first foray as; playwright, producer and lead actor. Adrienne was most recently seen in the ‘FREE MEEK’ docuseries on Amazon Prime and she also starred in the web series ‘Boughetto’. Her credits include; The Blues According to Langston Hughes, Barn Razing (Lehman College) and Black Wall Street (York College PAC). Aixa Kendrick honed her directorial chops at Harlem’s City College of New York Theater Program enriching her craft while participating in Lincoln Center’s Directors Lab (2008-2009). She has infused her directorial touch to multimedia shows presented at Aaron Davis Hall, York College, KUMBLE Theatre, INTAR, Nuyorican Poet’s Cafè, La MaMa E.T.C., Daryl Roth Theatre 2, Creative Place Theater, Puerto Rican Traveling Theater, Payan Theater, Chashama Theater’s Times Square Window Performance Series, Museum of The City of New York, Brooklyn Museum, Cherry Lane Theatre & ARS NOVA. She is thrilled to yet again work with Ms Witt on this exciting and timely work.

Jamil Moore is from Harlem, New York. Trained in programs across NYC, he loves bringing powerful pieces like this to life. “Life itself is acting. In this form of art, we are able to live and react  freely with our own personal audience.”

Aliya Carter studied at William Esper Studio and since then has been working consistently as a voice-over artist,  film and theater actor. You can find her in a variety of projects, including HBO’s “Cinema Verite”, “Girl Most Likely,” and on stage with various improv groups. 

Lizzie Stewart is an NYC based actor/comedian who has been working in NYC for the past seven years. She is also the proud co-parent of the political/comedy podcast Let’s Get Civical produced by More Banana Podcasts.
