About the Artists

​Stephanie Sleeper is a choreographer, performer & costume designer. Her work has been shown at Roulette, Incubator Arts, NTHCC’s Happening Series, Joe’s Pub, The New York City Greek Film Festival, Fuse, Music at Gretna, dança em foco – International Festival of Video Dance, Triskelion Arts, Women in Motion Rooftop Salon, The Festival of New Musics, The Women’s Art Center, as well as the Wired Arts Fest, St. Marks on the Bowery, Raw Material, Waxworks & Williamsburg Freefest. She also co-produced the experimental performance series Studio A.I.R. for 8 years.

In 2011, ChristinaNoel Reaves founded ChristinaNoel and The Creature, a dance theater company. She has presented work at Triskelion Arts, Dance Theater of Ireland, the Bessie Workshop, Joe’s PUB, LaMama Theater, The Tank, Fete de L’Hurricaine Festival, DanceNOW, Dixon Place, Fractured Atlas’s stARTup Party, & The Hoover Dam Collective Performances. The Creature debuted in New York City at The Bessie Schoenberg Workshop in 2011. 2013 brought The Creature’s inaugural independent concert at Teatro LaTEA, and May 2014 at The Irondale and 2015 at The Flamboyan brought their second & third independent evening performances. The Creature is currently working on material for their 4th independent concert to be performed this coming May.

Janice Rosario is a NYC-based dancer & choreographer. She studied on scholarship at Ballet Hispanico, Ballet Academy East, Boston Ballet & the Alvin Ailey School. She graduated from F.H. LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts & holds a Dance degree from Hunter College. Janice made her choreographic international debut at the Tobago Contemporary Dance Festival in late March 2015. She was commissioned to present an entire evening length work at The Secret Theater in March 2015. She was also awarded a grant from The Chen Dance Center in May 2015. She is the 2015 Spring Solo Commission Recipient from The Moving Beauty Series. David Parker commissioned Janice to present an entire evening of work at the West End Theater in September 2015. She has also taught master classes at Hunter College & for the Contemporary Dance Festival in Tobago.

Muliebris Dance Theatre was created by Samantha Bergman, Cristina Gustaitis & Holly Heidt in the fall of 2015. Their first show was at Trans-Pecos in September. Since then they have performed at Brooklyn Studios For Dance, Over The Eight, Mark Morris Dance Center, Green Space & The Alchemical Theater. The company is a vehicle for the choreographers & dancers to develop their creative process as a group.
