About the Artists

Elisabeth Motley/ Motley Dance has been presenting and performing her work both nationally and internationally since ’04, and has received grants from the Mertz Gilmore Foundation, Foundation for Contemporary Arts, and the Andrew Mellon Foundation. Motley has presented her work at Gibney Dance, Danspace Project, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, The Whitney Museum, Springboard Danse Montreal, Festival Oltre Passo-Italy, LMCC’s Sitelines, Joyce SoHo, Chocolate Factory Theater, HERE, Movement Research at Judson, Fresh Tracks at NYLA, Center for Performance Research, and Alice Tully Hall among others. She is an Assistant Professor of Dance at Marymount Manhattan College, and holds a BFA from the Juilliard School, and MFA from Goddard College.

Nattie Trogdon and Hollis Bartlett are performers, creators, and advocates for the arts. They have been collaborating together for the past 2 years, creating socially conscious work. Hollis Bartlett, graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2010. He has been a member of Doug Varone and Dancers since 2011 and has also worked with Brian Brooks, Adam Barruch, and the Metropolitan Opera. Nattie Trogdon was born and raised in North Carolina and graduated from SUNY Purchase in 2012. As a freelance artist in NY, she has worked for Britt Falcon, Kensaku Shinohara, Steeledance, David Dorfman and Doug Varone.

Originally from Bloomington, Indiana, Holly Heidt studied dance and literature at Oberlin College. She is currently dancing for Vashti Dance Theater and Caroline Brethenoux. Her choreography has headlined at Standard Toykraft, Spectrum, The Tank, and Trans Pecos.

Chelsea Ainsworth  originally from North Carolina, is a graduate of the Dance Department at The Juilliard School. After graduating has worked with Johannes Wieland/Staadtstheater Kassel in Germany, and got certified as a Thai masseuse. Currently she dances with David Parker and the Bang Group, ZviDance, and teaches at Cap21 musical theater school, and the Chen Dance Center. Recently she founded Arts On Site, a non profit that gives affordable rental space to artists with a focus on building and connecting communities.

Doron Perk Born in 1990, Doron studied at the Music and Dance Academy in Jerusalem and the conservatorium of the academy. Between 2008 and 2010, Doron danced for the Croatian National Theater Ballet and later on between 2010 and 2013 in Compañía Nacional de Danza. He is a recipient of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship for 5 consecutive years (2003-2008) and was awarded a full scholarship for the Conservatoire de Paris along with Pas de Deux Master Class and Mia Arbatova Association (2006). Doron was an apprentice at the Batsheva Ensemble in 2008 and danced in the Batsheva Ensremble between 2013 and 2015. Gaga Teacher since January 2015. Currently living in New York City, dancer at Zvidance since March 2016 and joined Curet Preformance Project in August 2016.
