About This Show
Myrtle Gordon is filming her new war movie—but she can’t nail the accent, and it’s driving her mad. Her son Vlad is a prolific vlogger who, with the help of his deadbeat internet friends, intends to bring down the entire film industry with his version of the Radical Truth—if he can only get his ass off the couch.
About the Artists
TriMil is the collaborative artistic effort of director Tristan Powell and playwright John Aldous. TriMil rejects sentimentality and nostalgia in the theatre and seeks instead to inspire a full spectrum of emotional and intellectual responses to our work. TriMil believes the role of the theatre in contemporary society is to probe the structures of power that govern our material reality, exposing contradictions and exploding myths.
Tristan Powell is a director. At Northwestern: References to Salvador Dali Make Me Hot, The Visit, and My Fair Lady. NY: British Honduras Fantasy by Ariel Zetina (Trans Theatre Fest @ The Brick.)
