About This Show
The focus of this work-in-progress is the relationship between the host and the live audience. I’ll be performing an opening monologue of sorts, a stand-up comedy type approach, and introducing a series of short puppet skits and other sketches, goofy songs and variety acts. Some of the acts I’m thinking of including are a hip hop doctor, a stone-gloved boxer, and a crooning king.
About the Artist
Kobun Kaluza is a playwright, juggler, and puppeteer who creates performance works that join live action with puppetry and circus arts. His most recent work was an interactive adventure around Governor’s Island in this year’s Figment NYC. Grounded in a traveling game of petanque, Kobun moved around the island, entertaining, as well as teaching juggling.
