ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Libba Bray is the New York Times bestselling author of The Gemma Doyle trilogy (A Great and Terrible Beauty, Rebel Angels, The Sweet Far Thing); the Michael L. Printz Award-winning Going Bovine; Beauty Queens, an L.A. Times Book Prize finalist; and The Diviners series. She is originally from Texas but makes her home in Brooklyn, NY, with her husband, son & two sociopathic cats.

Michael Buckley is the multiple NY Times bestselling author of Undertow, The Sisters Grimm & NERDS series, as well as Kel Gilligan’s Daredevil Stuntshow and one half of the creative team behind CN’s Robotomy.  He lives in Brooklyn with his wife & son. He likes cupcakes.

David C. Martin is an American television news correspondent, journalist & author who works for CBS News. He is currently the network’s National Security Correspondent reporting from The Pentagon, a position he has held since 1993. He is the author of two books, Wilderness of Mirrors, an account of the secret wars between the CIA & KGB, & Best Laid Plans: The Inside Story of America’s War Against Terrorism.

Annabel Monaghan is the author of the award winning YA books, A Girl Named Digit & Double Digit. She is also co-author of Click! The Girls Guide to Knowing What You Want & Making it Happen, a non-fiction guide to positive thinking for teens. She’s a graduate of Duke University & has an MBA from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania. She lives in Rye, NY & writes a humorous column, Along for the Rye’d, for the Rye Record.

Anthony Schneider was born, bred & buttered in South Africa & educated in the United States. His novel, Repercussions, was published by Penguin South Africa in 2014 & is just out from Permanent Press in the US. He has been published in the anthologies, The Literary Insomniac & The Encyclopedia of Exes, & numerous literary magazines including McSweeney’s, Mid-American Review, Conjunctions & BoldType. He divides his time between New York & London, & just spent two months in Cape Town.

Emmy Laybourne is a novelist, screenwriter & former character actress. Her Monument 14 trilogy has earned critical praise, called ‘‘frighteningly real… riveting” & named Editor’s Choice by New York Times Book Review, & has been nominated by readers to the YALSA Teens Top Ten in 2013 & 2014. Before her life as an author, Emmy performed original comedy on Comedy Central, MTV & VH1; she also acted in the movies Superstar, The In-Laws & Nancy Drew, among others.
