In the Lounge RED-HEADED STEPCHILD Susannah Simpson

About This Show

Red-Headed Stepchild is a gay little mermaid who’s purged Disney’s Kool-aid, and remembered her sea-witch roots. A Southern baby dyke, yearning for more than Prince Eric can give, and afraid to admit it. She creates a safe and saline container to untangle the toxic sea-weed of hetero-normative narratives and step-fatherly rejection. Red-Headed Stepchild realizes Ursula within herself and is set free.
