IN THE LOUNGE Mom in the Car on the Way to the Airport Jordan Baum

About This Show

Historical re-enactment of mom’s 90 minute monologue during car ride to LAX, during which son and husband, doze, not-listen. Mom chronicles her students, her recent book purchases, her opinions of her co-workers and her recent walks & FitBit. Re-enactment of these ‘‘mom-o-logues’’ by Linda Baum’s son, (called ‘‘Not-me’’) in the form of ‘‘micro-poems’’ at a microphone. (I call her Mommy.) ‘‘I think daddy is a secret hoarder!’’
