About the Artist
Having performed stories from her one woman show “Love and Other Hard Truths”, Valarie is back again to keep us captivated. Having honed her storytelling skills through the Moth, she won a Grand Slam title in 2023. Her story of meeting Ruby Bridges made it to the radio. A former Keepsake House and Emerge NYC resident, she is working on getting her show produced on the stage in its entirety.
