IN THE LOUNGE Legends, Statements & Stars! Banjela Davis

About This Show

The schizophrenic and youth-friendly appeal of ‘‘All That’’ meets RuPaul thematics and ‘‘Let’s Make a Deal’’ irreverence. Legends, Statements & Stars! is a talk show concept from the mind of Zee Frater, who hosts the show as the pseudo-intellectual around-the-way girl Banjela Davis. Up and coming New York-based creatives are profiled, heckled, and awarded prizes for correctly responding to queer trivia. Commercial breaks throughout include brief segments on nightlife, animated shorts, PSAs, hot topics, and/or satirical news. Each episode features live performances from special guests and Banjela Davis herself.

On July 15, Banjela will be joined by co-host Das Mannequin, DJ Amali on the 1’s and 2’s, and 2 very special guests TBA!
