Dixon Place Hosts: Inteligencia Artificial (Artificial Intelligence) Americas Society in collaboration with Centro de Experimentación del Teatro Colón

About This Show

Americas Society presents the U.S. premiere of the multimedia monodrama Inteligencia Artificial by Miguel Galperín and Ignacio Llobera, which is based on the reflections of an ordinary man fascinated by artificial intelligence. The sets, designed by Brazilian collective SuperUber, juxtapose man’s temporality with a universe of memory, data processing, and the enduring legacy of artificial intelligence, drawing a comparison between the domains of the biological and the technological. Starring critically-acclaimed Argentine actor Marcelo Delgado, videos are projected throughout the performance onto suspended translucent screen modules, visually expanding the world of the narrator.
