In the Lounge IMRE LODBROG ET SA PETITE AMIE: MOTHER NATURE’S SON Barbara Browning
About This Show
Last summer, while living in the country, Barbara and Imre started reading obscure early-20th-century naturalist texts. They discovered some weird and unexpected treasures. In the work of the eccentric entomologist William Morton Wheeler, Barbara found what appeared to be a primer for gynocentric anarchist living, based on the activities of female Sphex wasps, termites and bees. Meanwhile, Imre was having his mind blown by the psychedelic prose of Wilhelm Bölsche, a proto-hippie visionary scientist of cosmic dimensions. In this episode of their ongoing adventures, they discover that a journey into the natural world can be the trippiest trip of all.
