About the Artist

Alexis Spiegel is an educator, teaching artist and playwright residing in Brooklyn. She holds an MFA in playwriting from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and is the author of the play, ‘Honeoye’. In 2016, she was co-playwright and performer in The Black Jew Thing in a workshop performance at The Mosaic Theater Company in Washington, D.C.
