His Majesty, the Baby’s Dumb Show His Majesty, the Baby

About This Show

Fusing dance, music, and technology, His Majesty, the Baby, presents sketch comedy like you’ve never seen before. A quadcopter does stand-up as Drone Rivers. Two perfectly accurate timers race to zero. And, in an interactive pantomime based on Wagner’s Ring Cycle, the audience seals the fate of its favorite performer. See the group critics are describing as “restlessly deconstructive,” “the future of all entertainment,” and “Sometimes the irony fails to land.”

About the Artists

His Majesty, the Baby, is a new experimental comedy troupe. The group has put on shows at the New York International Fringe Festival and the UCB and performs regularly at the People’s Improv Theater. Drawing inspiration from the Pythons and performance art, HMtB blends traditional sketches with dance, poetry, and live music, physical comedy with metaphysical comedy. For the members of HMtB, one of whom is battling cancer at age 23, comedy should deal frankly with our worst fears: spiders.
