About the Artists

Amelia Bande is a writer working in performance, theater, & film. Her plays Chueca & Partir y Renunciar were staged in Chile. Working in the project space Kotti-Shop in Berlin, she organized the monthly event Get Done and the writing workshops Dancing with Words & Write the Body Electric. She is part of the Gel Film Series, writing the scripts for the groupĀ“s experimental animations & film installations. She co-founded Publishing Puppies, an independent press for visual work, poetry & fiction. Her work has recently been shown at Artists Space, The Poetry Project, MIX NYC, NewBridge Project, Pratt Manhattan Gallery, NGBK & Flutgraben Kunstfabrik Berlin. She lives in New York.

Svetlana Kitto is a writer. Her fiction & nonfiction have been featured in Salon, VICE, Art21, Plenitude Magazine, the New York Observer, and the book Occupy (Verso, 2012). She has contributed oral histories to projects & exhibitions at the Brooklyn Historical Society, the Mashantucket Pequot Museum, the Museum of Arts and Design, Know More Games gallery & the New York Public Library for Performing Arts. This past winter, she was Danspace Project’s Writer-in-Residence for Platform 2016: A Body in Places. She co-curates the reading & performance series Adult Contemporary in NYC.
