Six Degrees Dance
Preforming “Veils of a Spiraling Demise
Choreography by Cecly Placenti

Cecly Placenti received her MA in Dance Education from New York University and her BFA in Dance from Montclair State University. She formed Six Degrees Dance in 2011 while continuing to freelance with several NYC based companies and choreographers. Cecly is Senior Contributor and Associate Editor at The Dance Enthusiast and started the magazine and digital platform Motion by Degrees to spotlight under-represented movement artists. Cecly was a guest choreographer and teacher at Cicely Tyson School of Performing and Fine Arts as well as Raritan Valley Community College and currently teaches dance at The School at Columbia University.

TAQ Dance 
Performing “Tempest in a Teacup “
Choreography by Sasha Marlan-Librett 

Sasha Marlan-Librett (she/her) is a NYC-based contemporary dancer and choreographer. Sasha received her BA in Dance and Philosophy from Scripps College (‘22). In LA, she collaborated in processes with Rosanna Tavarez, Kevin Williamson, and Rebecca Lemme, among others. Sasha has since performed with Monica Bill Barnes + Co at the American Dance Festival in “The Running Show,” and has showcased dance films and live performances in New York at venues such as Gibney, Manhattan Movement & Arts Center, The Tank Theater, Estia Day Fest, and Spring-for-Spring Dance. Her work explores existential themes through dance-theater aesthetics and performs under the name TAQ Dance – These Are Qualia.
