Josh Bayer is an artist and educator. He was listed on Art Net’s “Ten Artists the Art World should be paying attention to,” featured in Best American Comics, written articles For IDW’s Full Bleed, and But Is It Comics Aht? magazine . He is the author of Theth, RM, Raw Power, Suspect Device, The Black Hood, and the All Time Comics imprint.
Samuel Ferri is an art guy who attained his sweet skillz in a life or death knife fight against an oddly-shaped hobo named Roy. His work has been featured in MAD, Time Out New York, The NYPress, Funny Times, The New York Observer, The NY Post, The Brooklyn Rail and other corners of the universe. Liana Finck‘s cartoons appear regularly in The New Yorker. Her first graphic novel is called A Bintel Brief. Her second, Passing for Human, will be out in September.
Carolita Johnson has been contributing cartoons to The New Yorker since 2003, and also telling stories and illustrating them since forever.
Sears Charm School and University of Delaware graduate, Flash Rosenberg is an “Attention Span for Hire” who draws, animates, photographs, writes, performs…and swims. This Guggenheim Fellow served as the pioneering Artist in Residence for LIVE from the New York Public Library (for 7 years) where she drew discussions in real-time, to innovate animated “Conversation Portraits.” Flash Rosenberg Studio is a full-service cartoon, photography, motion picture, merriment, and mischief factory based in Harlem. flashrosenberg@gmail.com
Kriota Willberg uses comics, needlework, history, bioethics, and her career in massage therapy to explore the body/sciences. She teaches artists about injury prevention through workshops and her new book, Draw Stronger (Uncivilized Books). Her other comics appear in: 4PANEL.ca,SubCultures, Awesome Possum, Comics For Choice, The Strumpet, The Graphic Canon, and the journals Intima and Broken Pencil. Willberg is the inaugural Artist In Residence at the New York Academy of Medicine Library.
R. Sikoryak is the cartoonist responsible for Masterpiece Comics, Terms and Conditions, and The Unquotable Trump (published by Drawn & Quarterly). He’s drawn for The New Yorker, The Onion, MAD, and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. His comics have been included in The Best American Comics 2015, The Graphic Canon, and Fable Comics. He has hosted Carousel since 1997.
