A group of socially conscious young people start a book club to study the work of the mysterious internet philosopher aleX. Their dedication to aleX becomes cultish, and they are forced to find out if they can separate the work they love from its creator.

Nazareth Hassan (playwright) is a playwright, director, and musician from Atlanta, GA. He is the 2017 recipient of the Dramatist Guild Young Playwright Award. Recent pieces include cubelite. Sarah Cook (director) is a New York based director. Her favorite directing credits include Crumble (Lay Me Down, Justin Timberlake), Machinal and Merrily We Roll Along. She has assisted Young Jean Lee, Andrew Neisler, and Shaun Peknic. BFA: NYU (PHTS)

Sara Ravid (producer) is a director and producer. Her recent directing credits include Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again. (NYU/ PHTS) and Reunion (Manhattan Repertory Theatre). She recently assisted Young Jean Lee in the development of a new play. She also assistant produced a APLOMB with The Habitat Theater Company, performed at the Actors Fund Theater. BFA: NYU (PHTS)
