ALL MY FRIENDS ARE DEAD : WORKSHOP #1 Taylor Edelhart

About This Show

In a quiet Northern California suburb, eight perfect high schoolers share a magical friendship. Then one of them jumps in front of a train, and the Magic 8 have to figure out if high school is something they are willing to survive. A remix of Wedekind’s Spring Awakening, inspired by the horror anime Another and the real suicide clusters that have been taking place in the high schools of Palo Alto, California, on and off, since 2010.

About the Artist

Taylor Edelhart makes new theatre. Their work deals with the sinister, the power of objects & the intersection between theatre & games. A genderqueer person, Taylor uses ‘they/them’ pronouns & is an advocate for queer rights in artistic workspaces. They grew up in San Francisco, a half-hour away from Palo Alto. Coming Up: MOUSE at The Brick’s Trans Theatre Festival this June.
