Tiny-house dwellers Jake and Isabelle find their lives unraveling when their beloved king abdicates the throne and an evil steward rises to power. Isabelle sends Jake on a quest to bring their hero king back. Jake returns empty-handed and finds Isabelle and the kingdom falling apart. As the situation gets desperate, they turn to extreme measures to restore order to the kingdom.

Criena House (Isabelle) [pronounced KRE-nuh] can be seen in the Off Broadway show – Puffs: Or The Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic. Thrilled to be working with Leta and Hannah again; Chang(e)(HERE Arts Center), One-Minute Play Fest; and the staged reading of The Unfathomable Blue. Other NYC credits include: Red Flamboyant(Firebone Theatre), The Lesson(Actors Studio Repertory), Snowkus Pocus(Cirquetacular Entertainment). MFA: Actors Studio Drama School. Leigh Poulos (Jake) is thrilled to be back collaborating with Vaughn after co-creating two seasons of their award-winning web series, Dates Like This. Leigh has performed in and around the city for over ten years, at Classic Stage, St. Ann’s Warehouse, Lincoln Center, Portland Stage and Shadowland Theater, among others. She is a proud member of Trusty Sidekick, Seven League Boots, and Story Pirates, as well as a teaching artist at several cultural institutions throughout NYC. Hannah Vaughn (Playwright)’s plays include Away From, The Unfathomable Blue, and Look Up or Why We Don’t Go Camping Anymore. Her work has been seen at previously at Dixon Place, as well as at The Players Theatre, Paper Kraine, Actors Theatre of Santa Cruz, Left Coast Theatre Company and has been developed with Fresh Ground Pepper, Live Source Theatre Group, and The Navigators. Leta Tremblay (Director) is a Theatrical Director based in New York City who strives to create space for Intersectional Feminism, Queer Voices, and Revolution in her artistic pursuits. The New York Times called her work; “Sweet and boisterous… an adventure and an event.” She assisted acclaimed SITI Company Artistic Director Anne Bogart on Kurt Weill’s musical opera LOST IN THE STARS at CAP UCLA. Leta is a graduate of Smith College and the Eugene O’Neill National Theatre Institute, where she now returns as a teacher and mentor. She is the Producing Artistic Director of Caps Lock Theatre and an associate member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society. www.letatremblay.com
Patrick Shearer (Sound Design) is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work has been seen by literally dozens of people, throughout the world. Co-founder: “The Blood Brothers present…” stage horror series with Pete Boisvert and Stephanie Cox-Williams. Most recently: cinematography and sound design for “The Horror at Gallery Kay”, a dark fantasy film hitting the festival circuit. As an actor, he can be seen in the long-running soap-opera for stage “It’s Getting Tired Mildred” starting their new season September 15th at The Loft at the Davenport Theatre.
Allison Acuff (AD/Stage Directions) is a director and teaching artist whose passions include devising with an ensemble, reclaiming the literary canon, and boldly dismantling the patriarchy, one rehearsal at a time. Since 2003, beginning with highly imaginative, annual Thanksgiving skits wherein family members played turkeys, Allison has always loved challenging and astonishing her audiences. In 2017, Allison was a KCACTF SDC Region Four Finalist in directing and went on to study Shakespeare at the Globe Theatre and Advanced Directing at the National Theater Institute. In and out of the rehearsal room, she enjoys exploring the intersections and seeming contradictions that make up our humanity.
