Dixon Place has hosted TRANSLATE (voices of dance) - a festival of new choreography since 2012, and we are excited to announce the extremely talented choreographers for our 2017 program. ‘TRANSLATE (voices of dance) - a festival of new choreography’ presented by Dixon Place and curated by J CHEN PROJECT’s Artistic Director, Jessica Chen, is dedicated to showcasing works of emerging and mid-career choreographers. With an emphasis to support the NYC dance community at large, there are program activities scheduled where all applicants are invited to attend.  Past activities have included a creative process workshop, salon-styled discussions, improv jams and more.  Activities will be open to all applicants, even whose work is not selected.
