     Joseph Cavalieri

    Cavalieri is an award winning native New York artist and educator living in the East Village.

    His work is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD), the Italian American Museum, the Leslie-Lohman Museum, and the Stax Museum. He has shown at MAD, shows in Munich, Bulgaria, the Venice Arsenale, and solo shows in Berlin and at the Ivy Brown Gallery in Chelsea. His aim is to merge contemporary imagery with painted stained glass, a material with a very powerful spirit.

    Seth King

      Seth King graduated with a BFA from Tyler School of Art. He lives and works in Brooklyn, NY where he spends much of his time watching as the construction of multi story luxury buildings removes the sky.

    I was walking down a crowded street and noticed a man in suit and tie coming towards me. He had headphones on and dark glasses. As he passed a blue bubble emerged from his mouth. The bubble surprised me and the image stuck with me, and I began to think about the bubble he blew, but also the bubble he was in as he walked down the street. That was how this small series of bubble paintings came about.
