tiger tiger (on the nature of violence) Written by Jessica Almasy

About This Show

In tiger tiger (on the nature of violence), three boys walk into a zoo in San Francisco, two walk out in handcuffs & the world is turned upside down when a tiger is on the loose & the media wants an answer. Intertwined stories, told by many characters in language equally resembling Beckett and pop lyrics, build up to a story of surviving violence and coping with it. Based on real events and inspired by Almasy’s personal experiences, this American pastoral is not appropriate for children.
