Lev Grossman is the author of the New York Times-bestselling novels The Magicians, The Magician King and The Magician’s Land. In another reality, he is the book critic for Time magazine.

Frederic Tuten is an American novelist, short story writer and essayist. He has written five novels – The Adventures of Mao on the Long March (1971), Tallien: A Brief Romance (1988),Tintin in the New World: A Romance (1993), Van Gogh’s Bad Café (1997) and The Green Hour(2002) – as well as one book of inter-related short stories, Self-Portraits: Fictions (2010), and essays, many of the latter being about contemporary art. Tuten received a Guggenheim Fellowship for Fiction and was given the Award for Distinguished Writing from the American Academy of Arts and Letters.

Will Chancellor grew up in Hawaii and Texas. In order to research his novel, A Brave Man Seven Storeys Tall, he collaborated with conceptual artist Daniel Subkoff on a 14-foot clay sculpture for the New Museum, completed a two-month solo traverse of Iceland from westernmost to easternmost tip, crashed Art Basel, joined a water polo team, wore an eyepatch for weeks at a time, and learned Ancient Greek. He is currently at work on his next novel, To Test the Meaning of Certain Dreams.

Lee Matthew Goldberg graduated with an MFA from the New School. His fiction has appeared in Essays & Fictions, The New Plains Review, Orion headless, Verdad Magazine, BlazeVOX, and on Amazon. His debut novel Slow Down is a neo-noir thriller published by New Pulp Press in January 2015.

Marco Rafalá is a writer and a nerd for narrative games. His short fiction has appeared in theBellevue Literary Review, and he is a contributing writer for The One Ring Roleplaying Game, an award-winning tabletop game based on the novels by J.R.R. Tolkien. Marco holds an MFA in Fiction from The New School and has just completed his first novel.

Nicole Audrey Spector is a Brooklyn-based writer and editor.
