About This Show
Seven women, who work for a local food store, strike on a street in Brooklyn to receive equal pay to the male employees. While on strike, these women explore sexual politics, intersection, gentrification and motherhood, and expose how these personal issues affect their everyday lives. ‘Waiting For Lefty’ meets ‘The Vagina Monologues.’ Meet the women who stand united and STRIKE!
