About This Show
Hook Line Sinker centers on the inner workings of a content aggregation site. New-hire Matthew falls under the spell of the enigmatic Fergus, CEO of clickbait company Petti Media and specialist in all things viral. Their co-worker Grace is a talented but disenchanted content generator whose immigration status is tied to her continued employment at a company she despises, until she realizes that the only thing stronger than her desire to leave is Matthew’s determination to stay. With the company in a clandestine state of crisis, Fergus lectures his staff on the flexible morality of the internet and the absolute importance of site traffic, a message that resonates with some more than others.
