We added a bunch of seriously zesty Jammers to the mix last fall, so this batch of Jam is especially sweet and ripe for the sharing! Jamboree features a range of highly theatrical collaborations just as they reach the boiling point, and provides a window into the fierce imaginations of some persuasive new theatermakers.

Founded in 2010 under the auspices of New Georges’ auspices by playwright Lucy Alibar and directors Jess Chayes and Portia Krieger, The New Georges Jam has launched and cultivated some of the most audacious playwrights and directors working today — and fostered super new works and collaborations like Kate Benson and Lee SundayEvans’ Obie Award-winning A Beautiful Day in November on the Banks of the Greatest of the Great Lakes, first seen in The New Georges Jam on Toast, a 2014 festival of new works right here at Dixon Place!
