About This Show

The year is 1997. Buffy the Vampire Slayer has just hit the airwaves. Folks are still arguing about whether or not 10,000 spoons is really ironic. Two tenth graders from opposite sides of the country have the exact same English Composition assignment:

PenPal Project Outline
Objective: Students will learn the format of letter writing while learning how to craft well written sentences into paragraphs. They will practice with several genres including persuasive, biography, expository, and narrative writing while making real world connections.

As Zach & Louise persuade, narrate & exposit their heart-minds onto the page, they find some real world connections that are more magic-making & hormone-inducing than any school assignment before. They share stories of typical teenage experience: playing video games, getting second chair, divorce, depression, death &  their favorite TV shows—&, of course, they fall in love.
