About the Artists

Tiffany Mills and the NYC-based Tiffany Mills Company (founded in 2000) has created over 20 works performed nationally and internationally with a “fearless sense of freedom and exhilaration” (Washington Post). Mills’ process of creation is collaborative, ensemble-based, and multidisciplinary. She collaborates to blur lines between mediums and to discover layered methods of constructing dances. In 2019, the company will premiere Endless Shapes at The Flea Theater as an “Anchor Partner” and will tour to PA, NJ, TX, HI, and Russia. Past performance highlights: BAM Fisher, LaMaMa Dance Festival, Danspace Project’s City/Dans Series, and Baryshnikov Arts Center Residency, among others.

Emilee Pratt is a recent graduate from the SUNY Purchase College Conservatory of Dance. During her time in the conservatory she performed works by Loni Landon, Sue Bernhard, Dylan Crossman, Nejla Yatkin, Manuel Vignoulle, and Doug Varone. She completed her BFA in Dance in 2018, graduating summa cum laude with a concentration in composition. More recently, Emilee created Spare/Change Dance Company, a Queens-based dance company that she looks forward to expanding in order to share her work throughout New York City.

Jade Salzano is a choreographer from Central NJ, best known for her dynamic contemporary dance style under the title 78moves. Salzano currently attends Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts as a BFA Dance Major, studying choreography under the mentorship of Pam Tanowitz. At Mason Gross, she has had the opportunity to perform repertory by Yvonne Rainer, Christian Von Howard, Chien-Ying Wang, John Evans, Cleo Mack, and Blair Ritchie. Salzano draws her inspiration from her own experiences as a female millennial to develop unique contemporary dance, each piece existing in it’s own atmosphere. Her work has been presented throughout New York City. Salzano’s award winning dance films have also been presented across the United States.

Marcela Duarte is a dancer and an aerialist. She studied aerial arts at the Florida Circus School and dance at Martha Graham School.
