For every journey in life, there is a season. A season for bliss, a season for change, a season to mourn, and a season to bloom. This journey is common to humanity at large, whether through friendships, hustle culture, loss of identity, or circumstances out of our control. The reality is, there is Truth and Beauty in every season.

Soul Project is a home to dance, explore movement, find support, and stretch our artistry to new levels. This company is a platform for dancers to be at the forefront, providing motivation and inspiration to the artistic community as a whole.

Candace is a well-respected dancer, teacher, and choreographer. She’s been faculty at Millennium Dance Complex,  Movement Lifestyle, Broadway Dance Center, Peridance, and across the US and internationally. Truth and Beauty was commissioned by and is premiering at Dixon Place with support from Mellon Foundation, Mertz Gilmore Foundation, Jerome Foundation, Jerome Robbins Foundation, and the New York State Council on the Arts with support from the Governor’s office and the NY State Legislature.
