in the lounge The Technicians Written by Justine Gelfman
About This Show
The Technicians is set in a nail salon and tracks the friendship of two girls, the daughter of a patron and the daughter of a nail technician. In a world of increasingly divided social stratification, the play aims to address the beauty and complexity of female friendship over time. A play about class, opportunity, pinky promises, keeping them, breaking them, breaking nails, and breaking up.
