About The show

Marga Gomez’s 14th solo play Swimming With Lesbians is a sapphic seafaring spoof that takes place aboard the world’s oldest lesbian cruise ship,The Celesbian. Marga transforms herself from Pru Perez, the ships’ meek bingo caller, to Isabella, a disgraced Lacrosse player yearning for her first lesbian affair, to their fearless leader, Captain Admiral, who is always ready to go down in the ship and enough lesbian characters in 60 minutes to break a comedy world record.

“If you need to laugh, and laugh hard, and who doesn’t? run don’t walk to Marga Gomez’s new show Swimming with Lesbians. I do believe it’s her best yet, and that’s saying a lot. If you’re in New York, catch the show at Dixon Place.” Lucy Jane Bledsoe author “Tell The Rest”
