Anita Parrott is a born and raised (braised) Texan, playwright, and actor with an MFA from Columbia University School of the Arts. Recent acting credits include: “AMANDA” (Soho Playhouse); “strays” (American Mime Theatre); “Voyage to Lesbos” (A.R.T/New York); “Are You Listening?” (Recess Grove); “The She-Wolves” (14th Street Y); “jamie b.” (Sapphest NYC); and “Henry VIII”, “Fairview”, “Riceland”, “The Orangery”, “Big Love”, and “Passion Play” (Columbia SOA). Parrott’s plays have been produced in Pittsburgh, at the Vermont Theatre Company, and, in NYC, at The Tank, The American Mime Theatre, The Brick, and Columbia SOA
