Mother’s Milk Eleanore Pienta hosts performers Karolena Theresa, MOLLY&NOLA, and Ikechukwu Ufomadu.

Mother’s Milk is a variety show that asks comedy, dance and music performers to try something they’ve never done before, to do something they’re scared of (and to possibly fail, but fail 100%.) Eleanore Pienta hosts with wild performances between acts. This creates a night of energized discovery that the audience is a witness to. It’s a hell of a night with no shortage of fun.

Ikechukwu Ufomadu is an Emmy-nominated and Drama Desk Award-winning actor, writer and comedian, named a “Comedian You Should and Will Know” by Vulture/NY Magazine and a “Comic to Look Out For” by Time Out New York. He co-wrote and stars in: BRIC/Factory 25’s indie comedy feature Inspector Ike (Jury Prize at New Orleans Film Festival); and the short-form FX series Words with Ike (Emmy nomination for Best Actor in a Short Form Series.) Recent writing: the late night series Ziwe (Showtime), Emmy-nominated Tooning Out The News (Paramount Plus), and Paid Off (TruTV). Karolena Theresa is a stand-up comedian, actress, writer and singer from Queens, NY.  She is the co-host of the hit podcast Hoes With Feelings with Melissa Rich. They host a live monthly version of the pod called Cheap Therapy by Hoes With Feelings.

MOLLY&NOLA is Molly Ross and Nola Sporn Smith, who have been making work in NYC as MOLLY&NOLA since 2017. Their work has been presented by Movement Research at Judson Church; New Dance Alliance’s Performance Mix Festival; Center for Performance Research’s Fall Movement Festival; Pioneers Go East Collective; and a variety of galleries, music venues and DIY spaces around the city (Trans Pecos; The Glove; Chaos Computer; Assembly Room Gallery; and more). Eleanore Pienta is an award-winning screen and stage actor, comedian, dancer filmmaker, and host of Mother’s Milk. Weaving in and out of the independent film circuit, Pienta has carved out a niche for herself by portraying uncompromising and complex characters. She can next be seen in Aaron Schimberg’s A Different Man.  Recent films: Joanna Arnow’s The Feeling That the Time for Doing Something Has Passed (‘23 Cannes Golden Camera nominee) and Soft & Quiet (‘22 Gotham award nominee). Eleanore is 1/3 of the famed indie comic dance trio Cocoon Central Dance Team whose film Snowy Bing Bongs (producers, The Daniels). Broad City’s Abbi Jacobson called them “three of the most badass, talented, original performers around.”
