Mother’s Milk Eleanore Pienta hosts performers Larry Owens, Katie Hartman and Eudora Peterson.

Mother’s Milk is a variety show that asks comedy, dance and music performers to try something they’ve never done before, to do something they’re scared of (and to possibly fail, but fail 100%.) Eleanore Pienta hosts with wild performances between acts. This creates a night of energized discovery that the audience is a witness to. It’s a hell of a night with no shortage of fun.

Larry Owens is an award winning multi-hyphenate artist across the mediums of theatre, television, film, music and comedy. Theatre: A Strange Loop (Actor, Awards: Drama Desk, Lucille Lortel, Obie), Larry Owens’ Sondheimia (Creator/Director. Carnegie Hall, Cafe Carlyle, Pasadena Playhouse) Selected Onscreen: Abbott Elementary, High Maintenance, Search Party, A24’s Problemista, Sony’s Dumb Money, and more. He is the writer and director of the short musical film The Gag and is a 2023 recipient of the Jonathan Larson Grant. 

Eudora Peterson is a comedian and actor as well as an Emmy-nominated writer.  She can be seen in Julio Torres’ Problemista as well Kelly Reichardt’s Showing Up.  Television credits include Los Espookys, Search Party and Chris Gethard Presents

Katie Hartman is an actor, writer and comedian in NYC. She can be seen in High Maintenance (HBO), The Other Two (MAX), Younger (TV Land) and the Robert Smigel/Adam Sandler joint “The Week Of” (Netflix). She went to the prestigious Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal as a “New Face of Comedy” and was a staff writer and performer on the WGA nominated Paid Off with Michael Torpey on truTV.  Her web series “Made to Order” was listed as one of “6 Brilliant Web Series” by Marie Claire. www.katiehartman.rocks

Eleanore Pienta is an award-winning screen and stage actor, comedian, dancer filmmaker, and host of Mother’s Milk. Weaving in and out of the independent film circuit, Pienta has carved out a niche for herself by portraying uncompromising and complex characters. She can next be seen in Aaron Schimberg’s A Different Man.  Recent films: Joanna Arnow’s The Feeling That the Time for Doing Something Has Passed (‘23 Cannes Golden Camera nominee) and Soft & Quiet (‘22 Gotham award nominee). Eleanore is 1/3 of the famed indie comic dance trio Cocoon Central Dance Team whose film Snowy Bing Bongs (producers, The Daniels). Broad City’s Abbi Jacobson called them “three of the most badass, talented, original performers around.”
