Electrifying, ethereal, and straight up gay. From the depths of interplanetary space, MCs Lili Pujol & Mateo Rodriguez-Hurtado bring you Glory W(hole). This curated show is a chance for up & coming queer comedians of color to have their downtown debut amongst seasoned veterans of the comedy scene. Every show has a big ‘ole hole in the line up. Who can fill our hole? Any BIPOC queer comedian that signs up. Cum for the sazón and stay for the fresh fruit. ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Dash Turner, (He/Him) Dash is a comedian and writer. His writing credits include Solar Opposites and Rutherford Falls. He has been featured by Comedy Central and Vulture. He is an enrolled member of the Yurok Tribe — California’s hottest and most popular tribe.
Dylan Adler, (He/Him) Dylan is a comedian, actor, writer, and musician based in NYC and LA. He’s currently a writer on the Late Late Show with James Corden where he also performed Stand Up and was a Sports Correspondent. He was recently named a Comic You Should and Will Know by Vulture Magazine. He’s also performed for Comedy Central and the New York Comedy Festival as a Comic To Watch.
Zubaira Ahmed, (She/Her) Bengali-American Muslim writer, comedian, and filmmaker. Born in Chicago and raised in Brooklyn, Zubi might be at odds about the best pizza but will fight for both cities no matter what. Short on all things including height, temper, and patience, she’s convinced she is related to Joe Pesci aka Dad. Zubi is one of the hosts of Kutti Gang, a live comedy show featuring South Asian performers. She is the writer and director of Polterheist, a comedy web series about a guy and a gay ghost that has been featured in the South Asian Film Festival of America and NY Lift-Off Film Fest. You can also catch her talking to other brown talents and community organizers on her baby talk show, Late Afternoon with Zubaira, available to watch on Youtube.
Gerardo Pelati, (They/Them) As the co-creator of “Aye, Que Funny!” Gerardo performs all around the city and Miami, FL. Follow them on Instagram for upcoming shows.
Josh Pacheco, (They/Them) JP is a two-spirit (genderqueer) LA-born, BK-based Mexican-American artist. From theater, to dance, to photojournalism, and stand-up comedy- JP does it all. They originated a role in and choreographed “Bergeracky ” a totally teen musical and performed on Oprah for “Glee on Oprah” in a nationally ranked show choir and danced for Doug Varone, Vicky Shick, Babel Movement, & more. They are published in New York Times, PBS, Al Jazeera, & are a current contributor to BK Magazine. As a fresh-faced comedian, they are generating laughter at local queer & bipoc-centered comedy shows with their stage persona “The Angel of Death,” or plainly as the illegitimate love child of Selma Hyack and the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
