Choreography by Danna Creager

Danna Creager (she/they) is an NYC-based dancer and choreographer with more than 2.5 decades of dance experience. As a dancer, Danna’s main creative inspiration draws from emotions, trauma, and the world surrounding them, using movement to process the both traumatic and awe-inspiring human experience. Danna first trained in a variety of styles at Lynn Vogen Dance Studio, Clifton Dance Project and the Academy for the Performing Arts (APA) in Southern California. Since moving to NYC, Danna has danced with Continuum Dance Co., DanceWorks New York City, and in other independent showcases. Danna created their company Breath Dance Project in April 2023.

Petra Zanki
Presenting “Till It Tear Us Apart
Choreography by Petra Zanki

Petra Zanki is an immigrant choreographer and artist living in Brooklyn, New York. Growing up in Croatia during the war, Petra’s main interest remains the transformation of pain into landscapes of beauty for the benefit of humanity. Blending different genres and styles, she explores the kinds of communities we want to envision in a post-Pandemic world. She presented her choreographies in New York, Seattle, and New Orleans, among which at Estrogenius festival, PRELUDE Festival, Movement Research at Judson Church, Coil13/PS122/Dixon place, GambitWorks/ChaShaMa, Arts Connection/Governors Island, On the Boards, Base, and at Velocity Dance Center. She graduated from the MFA Choreography program at CODARTS, Netherlands (2023).
