Kismet is a literary magazine with a focus on spirituality, religion and mysticism, for seekers and skeptics alike. Publishing thrice yearly in print, the magazine includes fiction, essays, poetry, recipes, reviews, and more. The latest issue, Kismet 005, features new writing from Jen George, Carl Phillips, Missouri Williams, Elaine Pagels, Wayne Koestenbaum, and others.

Simon Wu
Simon Wu is a writer and artist. His first book, Dancing On My Own, was published by Harper Collins in 2024. His writing appears in The New Yorker, The Paris Review, The New York Times Magazine, and The Drift. He has two brothers, Nick and Duke, and loves the ocean.

Maya Martinez
Maya Martinez is a writer, performer, and actress. Raised in Florida she now resides in New York City. She has performed her work at Performance Space New York, MoMA PS1, and Hauser and Wirth, and the Poetry Project. Her full length collection of experimental plays, Theatrics, is out now with Wonder Press.
