Inspired by Diving Into the Wreck (Poems 1971-1972) by Adrienne Rich, Evidence of Damage explores themes of identity, shared experiences across varying political landscapes, the search for truth, and reclaiming agency over a narrative.
Lawton Dance Collective is a women-led contemporary dance company based in New York City. Directed by Julia Lawton, LDC’s focus is on the development and presentation of new choreography, through research-driven creative investigation. LDC is committed to fostering a positive creative environment for dance artists, emphasizing collaboration and open dialogue throughout every process.
