Anna “EDGAR” Paterson (they/she) is a Brooklyn-based choreographer, drag artist, and educator whose work blends dance, drag, theater, and performance art. Their drag alter ego, EDGAR, is a disgraced rodeo clown from outer space conducting an ongoing ethnographic study of American life. Through movement, lip sync, clowning, and spectacle, Anna aka EDGAR explore nationalism, religion, consumer culture, and the strange performances that shape everyday existence
