School is back is session!

Dykes at Dixon is headed BACK TO SCHOOL! Sharpen your pencils, hike up your skirts, and report to Dixon Place because there IS a literacy crisis and reading is fundamental! Your favorite dykes are here to school you all! We’ve got gym teachers, art teachers, quirky english teachers and your favorite substitutes! So whether you’re a class clown, jock, band kid, or the dyke smoking behind the bleachers there’s a seat for you. So study up butter cups because there will be a KAHOOT!

Attendance is mandatory. Detention is encouraged!

Anna “EDGAR” Paterson (they/she) is a Brooklyn-based choreographer, drag artist, and educator whose work blends dance, drag, theater, and performance art. Their drag alter ego, EDGAR, is a disgraced rodeo clown from outer space conducting an ongoing ethnographic study of American life. Through movement, lip sync, clowning, and spectacle, Anna aka EDGAR explore nationalism, religion, consumer culture, and the strange performances that shape everyday existence.
