About The Artists
Austin Warren Coats – Choreographer
Austin Warren Coats is an interdisciplinary artist with a bachelor’s degree in dance studies from Kent State University and a Master of Fine Arts degree From New York University. He has had the honor to work with artists such as Silvana Cardell, Angela Luem, Catherine Meredith, Jess Pretty, Jamal White, and Ronald K. Brown. He has attended summer intensives from The Joffrey Ballet School, Ruth Page Center of the Performing Arts, and Ronald K. Brown’s EVIDENCE, A Dance Company dance intensive and workshop series. Coats also has interests in the arts including writing, illustration, dance, film, and fashion design. In 2020, his film The Black Dancing Body: Covid-Era (Draft 1) was selected for the Dance On Camera Film Festival. Coats currently performs with EVIDENCE, a Dance Company.
Caeruleus Dance Collective
Choreography by Trevor Ricardo Spencer Jr.
Trevor Ricardo Spencer Jr. is a choreographer based in Rosedale Queens.He has his BA in Dance with a focus in choreography. From 2017 Trevor has had the opportunity to present work for Pieces for Peace, the Multi-College Festival, Nachmo, Dance Astoria, 7MPR, Jennfier Muller and the works, Sharedspace and Fertile Ground. For Nachmo 2020 Trevor’s work was selected and shown as part of their theatre show. Trevor also presented a rework of a previous piece in “Translate” by the JChen Project in 2018. Trevor was selected to process and present a piece for the Newsteps series with Chen Dance Center in 2020 however it has been postponed due to COVID. Trevor had the opportunity to set 2 works on the Rogues Dancers for their Summer Virtual Performance in 2020. During the summer of 2021 Trevor toured the borough of Queens as part of the Queensboro Dance Festival.
Dalit Ahava – Choreographer
Dalit has showcased work in NYC and surrounding areas at the Tank, the Actors Fund, Triskelion Arts, Hudson Guild, CPR, Dixon Place, Lowes theatre , and NY Theatre Lab.
Dalit is a guest choreographer at Motion Arts Dance Studio in NJ.
In the Winter of 2022, Dalit was chosen as one of 5 choreographers to set work on professional dancers in the LA community.
Dalit showcased a rendition of the work in May 2022 and the creature and premiered a new work in Connecticut in June 2022.
Most recently she premiered a sold out evening of live music and dance.
Hadar Landan Dance
Choreography by Hadar Landan
Hadar Landan is an NYC based dancer, choreographer, and educator. Some of her fondest artistic experiences include performing with the late and great Gregg Russell’s Tap Sounds Underground; earning a grant toward putting on her own show through DM Arts Fest; and curating the NYC Studio Series, a community arts initiative aiming to provide affordable classes and opportunities for artists. Most recently, Hadar has premiered work for Spring for Spring Dance Festival and Bridge for Dance’s Uptown Rising.
Kaleid Dance Collective
Choreography by Rush Johnston
Rush Johnston is a Bronx-based multimedia choreographer, performer, filmmaker, and movement researcher. Rush creates at the intersection of visual and performing art, often exploring modes of artistic expression beyond the binary. Their work plays with perception and identity, often encompassing themes of political turmoil, queerness, Indigeneity, and mental health.

Choreography by Maqks Gross
Maqks Gross grew up dancing at the Metropolitan School of the Arts in Alexandria, Virginia. There, they trained in many dance techniques and predominantly ballet. After high school, they went to the George Mason University School of Dance, where they graduated with a BFA in dance. While in college, Maqks participated in many choreographic processes, masterclasses, a residency culminating in a performance of “Double Octets” with Doug Varone, and created four original works.
