In the lounge Kumiho Seonjae Kim

About This Show

A figure from Korean mythology, Kumiho is a nine tailed fox with shape-shifting abilities. She is often portrayed as a malicious seductress who eats human men. But one version is a love story: a god promises that if Kumiho can live a hundred days as a man’s wife without revealing her animal nature, she will be human forever. Act One uses traditional Korean music, movement and interactive theatre techniques to tell the myth. As for Act Two, well… let’s just say liberal America can be a super confusing place for a girl from Seoul, maybe even more than a human with nine tails.
