About This Show

We learn to decode our humanity through storytelling and we’ve created a magical experience to demystify for you the comedies and tragedies we’ve lived. YKR is a NYC-based performance where South Asian/ Indo-Caribbean artists share autobiographical stories that may have been otherwise silenced or ignored. Our stories are as diverse as we are, touching on topics of sexuality, loss, families, love, passion, magic, and brownness.
