Inspired by Emily Brontë’s 1847 novel, Wuthering Heights is set amidst the harsh English countryside, where passion consumes two lovers. The play  explores desire, destruction, queerness, and vampires.

About the artist

James Wyrwicz is a director, sometime stage manager, and professional usher. A graduate of NYU, he most recently directed The Milkman (Manhattan Rep) and The Little Foxes (NYU). He recently stage-managed Jess Barbagallo’s My Old Man (And Other Stories) and Eliza Bent’s On a Clear Day I Can See to Elba. He has also worked on shows at Abrons Arts Center and the Brick.
