US, curated and directed by Asia Kate Dillon, puts a magnifying glass to racism in the United States in an attempt to uncover the ideological system that continues to purposefully oppress and separate us from our humanity. US uses original text as well as found text, audio and footage to drive the #BlackLivesMatter conversation forward. #SayTheirNames
This performance will be followed by a talkback moderated by Asia Kate Dillon and fellow ‘Orange Is the New Black’ cast members, Amanda Stephen and Miriam Morales.
About the Artist
Asia Kate Dillon is a performer, writer and director living in New York City. Born and raised in Ithaca, NY, Asia Kate is currently playing Brandy Epps on the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black as well as filming another project due out early next year. #summersosecret Represented by Authentic Talent Management
