About This Show

The Keyboard is a criminal story involving a black man, a white man, a white woman, two detectives, and a pitbull. Who stole the keyboard?  Obsession is about excess baggage and a study on unconditional love versus selfish fear and pride.

About the Artist

Jeanette Sena Muhlmann aka Sena. Published Author, Playwright, Filmmaker, Actress, Multimedia Artist and Fashion Designer. Born in Munich Germany- Mother dancer, Father civil rights lawyer. In the 80’s Co-founder and Co-director of the legendary awarded Munich Theater Group The Magic Flute; toured private theaters, state theaters and festivals all over Europe. Translator and Actress of and in plays of Tennessee. Williams, M. Medoff, Osborne and Orton. 1996, Miller Awarded Spoken Word Artist and launch of book “Softly but highly dangerous I open your Heart,” presented at the Frankfurt and Geneva Book Fares; Life Style Magazine Critics ”Poetry in English and German-Not that sort of poetry you read in school, but profound observations about love affairs; puzzles of a very feminine point of view”. -theater performances with poetry and band. In1997 she was given the name Sena in Ouidah Benin West Africa – 1999 moved to NYC; performances Harlem Sugar Shack, Pink Pony, Morocco, Brooklyn Moon and many more to the Peabody Museum Yale University (invited by Ngoma) Highlights: CD “Natural High” – 2000 founded own fashion label SENA with shows including Dubai UAE, Kingston Jamaica, Brooklyn Fashion Week with Council Woman Letitia James as model. Wrote and filmed Documentary about Leo Glueckselig, the man who was thrown out of the concentration camp – 2007 short film KEEP IT CLEAN, shot on the beach of Coney island with activists and dancers – awarded artistic environmental short film award – 2008 played “Hanna” in Laurence Holder’s The Crooner at the Nuyorican Poet’s Cafe with Rome Neal . tSpecial Thanks to Kim Weston-Moran and her POTPOURRI!
