The House of Joy: A Tent Revival for the Legendary Quarantined Children

Description

We might be apart but now, but we are ALWAYS going to be a community.  Join theatre artists and thought leaders Roger Q. Mason and Ianne Fields Stewart on an evening of art-based connection and queer community building.  In the House of Joy, you will be lead through a series of exercises culminating in an open discussion about how we, as queer people, will not just survive this pandemic but thrive.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Ianne Fields Stewart (pronouns: she/her/they/them)  is a black, queer, and transfeminine New York-based storyteller working at the intersection of theatre and activism. Other Film/TV Credits include: Dash & Lily The Bold Type, and Pose. Ianne is also the founder of The Okra Project which is a collective that seeks to address the global crisis faced by Black Trans people by bringing home cooked, healthy, and culturally specific meals and resources to Black Trans People.
